On Moving
Sorry for being out of touch through the usual holiday gap and beyond. There have been lots of changes for me personally in the last few weeks that have resulted in some serious back and forth between New York and Boston.
Details aside, my story is typical. I've long been planning a shift to New York for a variety of job and family related reasons and the iron has been getting undeniably hot over the past 6 months or so. I've loved my time here in Boston. I think I've been able to cut my teeth in radio and
DJing in a way I wouldn't have been able to anywhere else.
I hate to consider New York to be across some sort of uncrossable ocean I can never return from. I'd love to stay involved in
DJing here whenever possible. For now I'll be keeping my bi-monthly residency with Ryan
Durkin at
Zuzu every 2
nd and 4
th Friday. But it doesn't appear my work schedule will allow mid week commutes up to hold down a spot on
WZBC. And so it's with a heavy heart that I announce the last ever
Mofo Radio will take place this Wednesday Jan. 20
th at 10pm on
WZBC.
Join me then. May have some guests in tow. Call ins definitely a must and I'll have a large list of thank yous to be read on air and to appear on this blog after the broadcast. Till then...
