Been sleeping on the blog. Had some fun radio shows and local gigs, then traveled down to Jersey for the holiday. Chilling there now but I wanted to throw in a few links from the last playlist.
First a shout out to Australian female DJ team Hoops. Caught a link to their site in Devlin and Darko's Australia report. We heard they're Wrong Number 2 mix in the show and it's easy to see why they're running things down under. Visit wearthemhoops.com and click the big image to download it fer yerself!
We also heard music from the Gangbe Brass Band. Dudes are from Benin and are described as a mix of West African and colonial brass music. Killer full sound with some jazz funk fusion as well. Here's the tune I found that made me want more of their stuff (super low bit rate sorry):
And two big chunes in the Reggae Two shot from Klassen last week avail over at FF as usual. And in case you missed the live studio tracks in the works over there peep the vid below:
That does it for me for a few weeks. The consecutive holidays fall on Wednesdays this year so I'm gonna miss out. I'll see what kind of supplementary posts I can drum up in the weeks off. Till then enjoy the seasons craziness!

Brek.One mixing on air.
Finally have the audio up from last week. Forgive the delay, did some serious rearranging of the home shtudio this week. It's back in shape now so here's the quick edit. Thanks again to Brek for coming through! Stream below:
You can catch Brek tearing it up at various spots around the city Fridays and Saturdays, and every Sunday with the Do It Again crew over at Zuzu! Have I mentioned those dudes? They've got live mixes at their Soundcloud page all worth checking out!
Back on the air solo tonight. See me then!
