Valentines day always makes me think of drippy synth pop 80's record Molly Ringwald movies. It just so happens I have a mountain of those 12's hanging out in the archives, many of which we've heard (perhaps painfully and at length) on the air before. At the end of the day though, some of these fat baselines and synth sequencers matched with huge drum kits can't be denied. Here's a quick mix featuring some of my recent faves we've been listening too lately (some in last week's playlist), segued into some cut and paste style white labels I have and a few dance classics (for the ladies). They'll be hosting the premier Valentines Day smooth down at the Milky Way just a day later. Pretty sure they're planing some rnb/slow jamz which is way overlooked in the club these days BUT ALSO SO NECESSARY!
