Big thanks to Jersey's finest DJ Tameil for hitting us up with a quick spot on the show last Wednesday. His tracks make me proud to be from Jersey and he dropped some serious knowledge on how he maintains his style. Other things I learned about the dude include: he grew up next to Redman, he's been in the game a long ass time, he's got mixes for days in all styles. Listen to the interview to get the whole picture!
Playlists from last week here. Join me again tomorrow night from more. And don't forget Bass Invaders this Thursday at The Milky Way! See you then,

Party central!
Big apologies on the unannounced skip of last week's show. The NU block party (and oops I forgot I was DJing the afterparty) kept me last week. If you stopped by good stuff, a few snaps here! If you were at the shit show Sat night in fort point pat yourself on the back as well, mostly for making it out alive. Herearesomeshots of that.
Since I have no last week to blah about I'll use this as an opportunity to talk about the Ghostdad live scene which is about to get larger. I'm hosting one of FOUR (count em) new monthly DJ nights at the Milky Way in JP. Friend of the program Nick Yoder (WMFO) will be joining me at the decks for Bass Invaders. A night of Bass, Booty, Breaks, Baile, Baltimore and Balkan Beat. Grab the avatar above for all your social networking needs and feel free to RSVP via Facebook and Mysprace (Facebook is winning). The first of these Thursdays rolls out this week when DJ Lone Wolf brings Tudo Mundo to the club with special guests Wayne and Flack. Between special guests and residents, these Thursdays seriously have the makings for some of the best nights in Boston! Here's the breakdown:
1st Thursdays = Chris Devlin (Spank Rock/BBC Soundsytem) 2nd Thursdays = Tudo Mundo with Lone Wolf 3rd Thursdays = Super Smash Bros. with Plus Move Last Thursdays = Yours truly and Nick Yoder for Bass Invaders
All right that's enough promo talk. I'll throw some links up on the side of this page and won't mention it much more. Back to the grindstone then with the fall kick off on Mofo Radio this Wednesday at 10. I promise to keep bringing you all those weird beat oriented late night jams on WZBC so keep tuning in for all kinds of hiphop/dance/funk/jazz/psych/latin and more! Let's dig deeper!

Back2school
Back to my roots and to where my radio life began for WRBB's annual fall block party this Wednesday evening. Some good hip hop and indie rock on the bill so come through cuz it's a free outdoor show. Although technically only for Northeastern students, I don't think there's going to be anyone there to tell you otherwise so stop by if you're in the back bay area. I'll be spinning between sets but friend of the program Who Knows is going to be on the mic this time so I'm psyched to check him out!
A bunch of other records in that playlist too. Mooving week gave me a chance to dig up some replays. It also reminded me how I never wanted to own as many records as I do in my current location because moving them was a complete bitch. Finally done shifting for now. See you Wednesday at the block party, then later that night on the air. Weekend calendar includes Color Friday with JoCo and a crazy bike race where I'll be spinning at the afterparty. Maybe I'll run into you there as well!
